Death animations should be generally rated model "wheeltank_ex.diff3d". You can return the tower to its original position when loading locations. There is still a few seconds of black screen, the player will not notice.
I don't know yet what affects the choice of static frame. It is clearly not zero and not finite. If the model is to replace, say, an ordinary box, the tower will stand right up. So the coordinates of the meshes themselves are normal.
